In the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 social apps in Greece showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Threads saw a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting with 58K in early January and experiencing a high of 60.6K mid-month. By the end of March, downloads settled around 36.2K. Active users also saw a decline from 118.8K at the beginning of the quarter to 73.4K by the end.

For TikTok, weekly revenue maintained a strong presence, peaking at $179.8K at the end of January and stabilizing around $151.5K by late March. Downloads showed a slight decline from 31.5K at the start to 27.2K at the end of the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 1.54M throughout the quarter.

Facebook experienced a notable spike in downloads towards the end of February, reaching 89.2K. Revenue peaked at $4.8K in early February before stabilizing. Active users saw an increase from 5.29M at the start to 5.22M by the end of March.

Instagram demonstrated consistent revenue, peaking at $13.3K in mid-February and closing the quarter at $8.4K. Downloads remained steady throughout the quarter, with numbers around 15K weekly. Active users hovered around 3.1M, showing minor fluctuations.

Finally, X saw a modest increase in revenue, peaking at $2.8K in early March. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight peak of 7.8K in early February. Active users showed minor fluctuations, starting at 454.8K and ending at 446.6K by the close of the quarter.
